Test B (Boric Acid) salmon-colored precipitate that dissolves in acetic acid.
It burns with a green bordered flame

Chloride: 500 ppm maximum.
Sulfate: 500 ppm maximum.
Arsenic: 3 ppm maximum.
Heavy Metals: 20 ppm maximum.
Clarity of 10% w/v solution in boiling water: Should be clear colorless to yellowish to very slightly hazy.
